Good Thursday,

Quite a trip from South Padre, we were planning on going to Mytrle Beach for the Bluebird Rally, but after leaving the island both alternators (replaced new last fall) quit charging, we had to run the generator to keep the batteries charged and stayed in campgrounds at night to charge up on AC power. So we cancelled the trip to South Carolina and came straight home.
Got home on Saturday evening.

The first night after leaving SPI we stayed in Gulf Coast RV Park just west of Beaumont TX, it was a very nice campground, even had free breakfast, Thanks Jose for the tip on the campground.

Getting back to normal here

Busy day today getting ready to leave, have to go to Brownsville to turn in the internet modem, take down and pack everything outside, put the scooter up.

Good Friday
Texas week begins this weekend, where all the kids are on school vacation for a week, expecting 60,000 people on the island next week.

The middle section of the beach by the south pavilion is still closed, the dredging company pumped clay onto that area of the beach, now they will have to truck it off. They are waiting on a crane to get here to load the trucks.

Good Thursday
Weather is still good, temps in the high 70's to low 80's and sunny, wind is a little breezy had to fly the vented Rev today.

Weather is still great

Fred (professial photographer in his previous life) was kind enough to take pictures of mine and Rich's kites

The beach is still a mess, but they have finished pumping sand onto the beach, now to level and grade it.

The channel has been busy with ships coming and going to the Brownsville port
